Wedding Movie Philosophy

Video is not an end in itself, but a means of visual storytelling.

Anyone can put together a series of beautiful images, but the story behind those images must be told properly in order for them to have real, lasting impact. Pertaining to a wedding, there is a very specific story that needs to be told. My aim is to tell that story as effectively as possible, and envelope the audience in the associated atmosphere of love, joy, union, and celebration.

Wedding Movie Packages

Wedding Movie Package I - The Highlights & The Home Movie - $4450

This package is popular because it combines the best of both worlds. You get a highlight video to quickly share with friends and family online plus a long-form movie which tends to be much more homey-feeling than the highly produced highlight video. Rather than being the star of a “Hollywood” movie, you can feel right at home on the couch watching for years to come, as though a member of your own family recorded your wedding video (a family member with exceptional cinematography skills, of course).

3-5 minute highlight reel with a cinematic look.
Includes shots of the major events of the day (including preparation, ceremony, photo session, and reception).
Up to 8 hours of on-site coverage with two cameras (additional hours and cameras available at extra cost).
Includes separate long-form video of ceremony vows and reception (introductions, dances, speeches, etc).

Wedding Movie Package II - The Wedding Story - $5250

This mid-length movie is great for sharing on social media AND adding to your family movie collection. Long enough to develop a story, but short enough to keep the attention of others, this package is generally medium-paced and serves as both a highlight reel and a story-telling.

6-8 minute (typical) highlight reel with a cinematic look.
Includes shots of the major events of the day (including preparation, ceremony, photo session, and reception).
Up to 10 hours of on-site time and three cameras (additional hours and cameras available at extra cost).
Includes separate long-form video of ceremony and reception (introductions, dances, speeches, etc).

Wedding Movie Package III - The Relationship Story - $5950

This is a fun and creative way of sharing and remembering your wedding story. Your relationship is the subject of a documentary, with interviews of the couple (and friends/family, if available) describing their history and hopes for the future. Also includes footage of the couple doing what they love with each other (on a dinner-date, hiking, exercising, rock-climbing, etc.). This personalized touch creates a much more story-driven plot. These shots will be mixed in with the wedding day shots and story to provide a dynamic, interesting storyline. You will be the star of your own movie!

8-12 minute (typical) documentary of your relationship and wedding day.
Includes shots of the major events of the wedding day as well as shots of the couple engaging in other activities outside of the wedding with interviews.
Up to 10 hours of on-site wedding time and three cameras (additional hours and cameras available at extra cost).
Requires an additional shoot day (3-6 hours), to be scheduled at the couple’s convenience, preferably prior to the wedding day.
The more creative the activities you choose to capture as a couple, the better!
Includes separate long-form video of ceremony and reception (introductions, dances, speeches, etc).

Add-ons

Social Media Trailer - $550

Add a movie trailer to any package above. This is great for social media because it is short, sweet, and filled with the best of the best shots. Share this fast-paced, ultra-fun video in order to “whet the pallet” of your friends and family and get them anticipating the release of your feature-length movie. This video works best with a gift exchange, letter-reading, or personal vows, but can be done with any wedding!

30-60 sec video designed for Instagram and other social media platforms.
Easy and quick sharing with larger audiences
May or may not include audio of the vows

Aerial Cinematography - $350

Set the time and place of your wedding movie in a unique way with aerial cinematography. Capture the beauty of your venue and even the magic of your outdoor photo session from a bird's-eye view!
